Il saggio di astronomia “The Heavens Illustrated” pubblicato a Londra da Walter Haddon. John Haddon & Co., "Caxton Type Foundry tra il 1816 e il 1820 è accompagnato da 17 incisioni di J. Archer con l’apporto in alcune di J. Addison.

Il saggio è rarissimo e non si trovano esemplari pubblici ai quali poter rimandare. Ci rimangono le tavole proposte in vendita da diversi negozi di libri antichi che spesso però commettono l’errore di attribuirle ad altri autori, come ad esempio a Duncan Bradford.

oltre alle incisioni vengono proposte alcune pagine del saggio che contiene una carta stellare “ Wiew of the celestial system” che riproduce la veduta dell’intero cielo per un osservatore posto ad una latitudine nord di circa 50° (probabilmente Londra).
